Freestyle
All coaches are expected to complete a Park Check Off every season, it is part of on-snow required training.
Please do not take your classes into the park to check it out and ski through it. You are putting your students at risk by not educating them on park etiquette.
The Terrain Park Check-off clinic covers:
- Identifying park readiness; recognizing minimum skills and abilities that are necessary before entering the park environment.
- Flow and route finding; identifying safe and appropriate paths through park features and park traffic patterns.
- Park Smart; reviewing the five points and how they can be integrated into every level of lessons.
- Introduction to ATML as a coaching tool; an overview of the Approach, Takeoff, Maneuver, and Landing phases.
