24-25 Checklist

 

    1. Apply for a job – By this point, you should have already applied for your job via Workday (our new recruitment system).
    2. Complete PSIA/AASI E-Learning Courses (optional) – complete prior to the on-snow training (only for non-experienced instructors and coaches)
    3. Commitment Form – fill it out and submit online.
    4. Compensation Form – fill it out and submit online.
    5. Accept Offer – You will receive an email from Workday with your job offer that you need to follow the link to accept your conditional offer.
    6. Snowsport Quizes – Complete the Snowsports Handbook, Kids Handbook and Concussion Quizes
    7. Complete Hiring Paperwork – Through the online Workday portal you will be asked to complete hire paperwork including your background check. If you are under 18, your background check will be mailed to you.
    8. Show HR your i9 documents – Will need to be completed prior to your first day of work. You are not hired until HR processes this.  Acceptable documents
    9. Request Season Pass – Fill out the request form for you and your dependents
    10. ‘Purchase’ Season Pass and Sign Waiver – You will receive an email titled “Your Employee Pass Information- Schweitzer” you will need to follow the link and directions found in that email to get your pass printed and mailed to you.
    11. Attend Indoor Evaluation – Please prepare ahead of time to teach something to the group (non-ski/snowboard related).
    12. Attend On-Snow Evaluation
    13. Official Job Offer – At the end of the on-snow evaluation, if selected, you will receive an official job offer from the ski and ride school.
    14. Orientation – Attend mandatory company orientation.
    15.  Bindings check – For Skiers only – bring 1 boot and up to 2 pair of skis to the repair shop downstairs (gratuity is accepted!)
    16. Complete Mandatory Workday Training Online – You will be assigned training courses through Workday. Please complete these from home, and you will be paid for the recommended time necessary to complete each course.
    17. Required Clinics – 4 days on On-Snow Training. More required clinics will be scheduled and will take place throughout the season.
